Transportes Furlong do Brasil has developed a great experience in Port operations, it is even registered as a Port operator (Reg N 152). The company provides the following services: Export operations – vehicles reception, pre-export examination, cargo stowage services supervision and all customs clearance routines. Import operations: Ships reception, vehicles received examination, cargo stowage services supervision, customs clearance, loading and stock control. Transportes Furlong do Brasil is in charge of receiving and storing vehicles from automotive companies at the Santos´ Port, and develops appropriate logistics for that purpose. Furlong do Brasil preserves a good relationship with Port´s authorities and Port´s general administration, and as a result, mantains better control over the units stocked at the Santos ´Port´s yards. Furlong do Brasil developed on the right coast of the Bernabé Island a special stock control process that improved the quality service. The company achieved a drastic decrease in the number of general breakdowns and eliminated robbery problems, which were very usual at the time (it is a public yard)
